Thanksgiving 2012 and Maggie

In keeping with last year’s and 2009’s tradition, I invited a guest for Thanksgiving. And this time it wasn’t a guy! Over the summer I met a girl named Maggie while I was teaching at CTY, and kept in contact with her after summer ended. She came to visit first for Labor Day, and we recently started officially dating. I don’t get to see her often because she lives in Massachusetts, but this Thanksgiving worked out perfectly for a visit. Enjoy the pictures.

I met her at the airport with flowers. And she made me chocolate truffles. After getting brunch and a quick nap we rode to Mill Hollow, walked along the river, and skipped stones. After the stone skipping, we went to Lake Erie to watch a sunset.

Friday night we went out in Toledo, but forgot to have anyone get a picture of us. All we have is this one of us getting ready. The last night, we stayed home and made dinner together. I made the shrimp, and she made the eggplant. This totally cute one was originally just a placeholder, but by popular demand I’m leaving it up.
