New Mexico Wedding

After my Asheville trip and the warrior dash, I started the longest leg of my summer travel by taking a mega bus to Chicago where I met up with George and Kristin Visser and Anne Fennema (again!). We drove to St Louis and picked up Sarah Dugan and then headed on to Gallup, New Mexico for David Dornbos III and Jesi Hale’s wedding. The pictures will tell the story.

After the wedding, I headed on to LA for about ten days, but I couldn’t find my camera while I was there so I didn’t manage to get any pictures of that part.

Photos:

Our first meal stop after leaving Chicago St Louis arch as seen from out car coming in to the city Another shot Some hot air balloons we saw along the way Anne and me working on our six packs at a rest stop along the way

One of our meal stops in Oklahoma or Texas along the way Our crew approaching the Cadillac garden Me in a Cadillac George leaving his mark one of the cars All of us squeezed into the back seat

Still back there The cave in Gallup that we are going to repel over. Notice the person at the top, and the person at the bottom. The view looking away from the cave George starting to repel George stepping off

A lot of the wedding guests went hiking in and around the arroyo the day before the wedding. Standing on a natural stone bridge Part of our crew taking a rest Looking down through “the window” at the top of a big rock This is the hill we had just finished hiking The bride and groom at the wedding
