Christmas 2012

As usual, this Christmas was a time of getting together and celebrating. There were several parties with family and friends, and hundreds of pictures. I’ve tried to select the best of them to share here.

Photos:

The first party was on December 23rd. We were practicing for the flaming shots. Too bad I wasn’t quite breathing fire like a dragon yet. Following tradition, Mom’s family got together on Christmas eve. My big present of the night was a ripstick. I rode it a little bit even though there was some slush on the driveway. Playing Jake’s new magnet game, Jishaku

We started Christmas day with a super sweet breakfast. Mom made new stockings for everybody. My first and biggest present was new motorcycle tires. Tire irons and other tire-related accessories were in my stocking. Mom really likes her new food processor. And dad likes his jingle bell boxers and matching elf hat.

Playing with a puzzle I got Maggie got me a Maxwell’s equations clock :) And I followed the nerdy Christmas precedent by getting her a glass Klein bottle. Later, Tyler and Beth came over and we got them a big box of Mexican pizzas.

Tyler showed off his remote control helicopter while I tried to shoot it with nerf darts. Maggie and I got tickets to a Trans Siberian Orchestra concert, and the freeway was crazy getting there. But the show was awesome! Playing with my new tire irons.
