25th Birthday

For my 25th birthday, my family and a few friends had a midnight chilli dog party and jam session. I also got a sweet present. I’ll let the pictures do most of the talking.

Still looking young and fit at twenty four years old right before midnight. But at midnight I turned oooooold. My first present was a jar of chili dog sauce. This led to a midnight chilli dog party. After chilli dogs we started setting up band practice. Conner loaned me a guitar and Tyler set up the drums.

Sarah had to literally dust off her old bass. It wasn’t long before we were totally rocking. Later I got my main present: A flying lesson. Mom made me this awesome birthday cake.

We encoded my age in binary since 25 is waaaaay too many candles. Instead of just blowing them out, I had to invert every bit (I couldn’t do it). A few days later the weather was nice enough to take my flying lesson. I was the pilot, and even did the take off myself. Walking back from the plane
